Well here
goes the most difficult part of any information to provide, details
about yourself, interest, hobbies, what the site is all about, here
goes, please be patient.
I have
previously attempted web sites before now but never felt that anything
within them was applicable to an interest or hobby of mine so, here
goes a different approach and hopefully a successful one at that basing
the site on an interest of mine, which will hopefully keep my interest
long enough to make a go of it.
This site
is going to be an ongoing project so don't expect to visit it one day
and it will be complete as that will not be the case at all. The
content is going to change often as I feel variety is the spice of
life, a change now and again is essential.
I've been
into photography now for just over 18 months and in that time I have
taken some very nice photos, but am still very much an novice and still
learning every time I go out and take some shots. I started out with a
Canon A95 which was ideal for the sort of photos I wanted to take at
that time, general family photos, a few when I was out and about but
nothing specific. I then started looking on the internet at photography
sites and forums and reading up on it, seeing some of the photos people
we taking was what really prompted me into getting a better camera, a
more capable camera. So I then got another Canon camera (which seems to
be my preferred manufacturer of digital cameras as you will see) the S3
IS, partly what influenced my choice of this camera was the excellent
image quality I had been able to achieve with my A95 and the fact that
the S3 IS boasted a MASSIVE 12x optical zoom equivalent to over 400mm
focal length which is what I was really after. It was then that really
I started to learn about the different aspects of photography such as
ISO, shutter speed, aperture and how all these areas effect the shot.
After a few months with the Canon S3 IS I decided it was time to start
looking into digital SLR's as I was now the difference in image quality
were now becoming more apparent to me than they were before when
comparing photos taken on a point and shoot camera to those taken on a
D-SLR, it was time to make the jump!
Basically
the rest is history, I have now got a brand new Canon EOS 400D and I am
VERY pleased with it indeed. There will be more about the kit I have
got in detail in the "My Equipment" section of my site.
Some
other interests of mine include online gaming (first person shooters)
karting, socialising with friends, Formula 1 but mainly Photography
which does coincide with a lot of my other hobbies which is always a
bonus, oh and of course MY CAR!
Thanks
for taking the times to read this and be sure to check out the rest of
the site as it will be constantly updated!
